It should be obvious that I’ve just installed pyblosxom. This
has been a little bit of a trial since I don’t have shell access to
the web-server and the error log is quite, quite, cryptic. Eventually I
tracked the problem down to the web server being a Redhat 7.3 machine
where you have to invoke python 2 explicitly. When the only error
message you have is File
"/home/callum/public_html/Pyblosxom/pyblosxom.py", line 555 and
you aren’t that familiar with python this takes a while.
The rugby match between England and the All Blacks also distracted
me. The final score was good enough, but somehow I’m disappointed it
wasn’t another humilitation. None the less the All Blacks tries, when they came, were spectacular and great to watch.
