Good news for both gnobots fans: you can now use the mouse to play the game. Well, almost. Teleportation still requires the keyboard and without the planned visual feedback it can be a little bit hard to tell which direction you will go in when you click the mouse. Fixes for these issues are coming soon. The preliminary work is in CVS right now.
To break the monotony yesterday a TV crew came through the lab. Actually they weren’t there to keep me entertained but instead to interview one of the new staff members who had been involved in the recent teleportation breakthrough. Oddly enough I know people from both the groups that did it. My contribution ? I turned on the pretty, but pointless, Verdi laser for the TV crew.
