I have to agree with Rich Burridge, Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal is a good read. Although Guards Guards is still my all-time favourite Discworld novel and Good Omens is of course Pratchett’s best (written with Neil Gaiman, for the few people who live under a rock and have never heard of this book).
Curtis Hoovey talks about finding more Chills albums. The unfortunate problem with The Chills is that Martin Phillipps keeps changing the bands line-up out of general artistic disatisfaction. This means that the bands sound and quality goes all over the place, although they can’t stoop much lower than “I Love my Leather Jacket” which was kind of catchy in a strange way, but not exactly a great song. I must admit I haven’t been keeping up with what they have been doing recently, despite them being a local band.
