There has had to be an extra release of gnome-games this time around since we seem to have relied too heavily on CVS code (librsvg to be specific). Unfortunately make distcheck doesn’t pick up that kind of error. There may still be problems with jrb’s new scm_* based code for interfacing C and scheme if you have an older versions of guile. So you still aren’t in for an easy ride compiling it. We have development releases just so that we can torment you like this.
On the up-side there is now partial bug-buddy support for the scheme code in aisleriot (jrb again). I am also testing out UI tweaks for aisleriot. It used to have the stock “new” item for the “new game” toolbar entry, but this was a blank sheet of paper. Not exactly intuitive. It is now the stock “play” item, which is marginally better, but doesn’t really convey the idea of it being a new game. Suggestions are welcome.
