I haven’t posted much here in a while. So a brief summary of what has happened since then:
- The renovations look like they might actually be happening, sometime in the next few weeks too.
- The house next door has come up for sale. We’d really like to buy it for all sorts of reasons. Unfortunately the renovations make money a little tight right now.
- Teague Hopkins has been visiting us for the last week. He’s here for the semester to visit somewhere foreign where they still speak English.
- I have found some nice female sword-tails to go with my nice male sword-tail. I suspect the off-spring will be bizarre mutant sword-tails.
- One of our cats has gone missing. He hasn’t met his doom on the road outside, but he has been gone long enough to cause serious concern.
- My list of tasks to finish for gnome-games before 2.10 is approaching zero at an acceptable rate.
- I have nearly finished another article for the optimization section of the GNOME web-site. It’s just a laundry list of useful techniques culled from other sources, so it’s not that great, but the cost of writing it has been minimal so it should be worthwhile.
